Bitshop is a crypto mobile app that enables users to buy, sell, receive, and trade cryptocurrencies with ease. The goal of the redesign was to elevate the overall user experience and create a more intuitive flow that clearly communicates the app’s core services.
Challenge
The existing app layout made key features less accessible and difficult for users to discover. Bitshop needed a more seamless UX that clearly highlights the main product features and guides users effortlessly through core actions like buying, selling, and receiving crypto.
Users struggled to quickly understand the core product offerings.
The existing layout lacked a clear feature hierarchy and navigation flow.
Important actions required too many steps, reducing overall usability.
The app needed a more seamless and intuitive UX to better communicate value and improve engagement.
Research & Insight
To understand what needed improvement, I conducted desk research and explored existing patterns across top competitor crypto apps.
This included:
Reviewing UI/UX standards used by leading crypto platforms
Studying onboarding flows, feature hierarchy, and dashboard behavior
Gathering inspiration and mood boards to define the ideal structure
Identifying gaps in discoverability and navigation in the old flow
This research helped me define what “clarity” and “accessibility” should look like for Bitshop.
Solution
I redesigned the Bitshop mobile experience with a streamlined, well-balanced UX that makes every core feature easier to find and use. The new structure presents the app’s services more clearly, strengthens the information hierarchy, and delivers smoother navigation across buying, selling, receiving, and trading crypto.
Overall, the updated UX improves the way users interact with the product and increases confidence during key transactions.
